Course Description:
This Emergency Response and Crisis Management course is developed to help emergency services personnel who may be the first to arrive at the scene of an incident involving a hazardous material. It primarily covers the topics needed to aid first responders in quickly identifying the specific or generic classification of the material(s) involved in the incident, and protecting themselves and the general public during this initial response phase of the incident.
Course Goal:
An awareness course focusing on the need to implement an emergency response system, understand the appropriate procedures and the roles and responsibilities of personnel.
