Course Description:
Grounding in power plants requires highly efficient training courses in safety precaution to avoid many field hazards that includes the potential of electric shock, fire, and burns. It is essential for all employees, including supplemental labor, to be aware of the grounding risks associated with electrical work and use appropriate protective methods to minimize the risk of grounding faults.
This course covers all aspect of grounding working in power plants and goes around grounding equipment Topics include electric effect on human, preventive of grounding. Earthing electrodes, earthing connector, earthing electrodes, touch and step voltages, earthing systems lightning and electric charges.
Course Goal:
This course will enhance participants’ knowledge, skills, grounding performance, and will give good concepts on grounding managements and emergency response planning in power generation plants.
