Course Description:

This course covers the problems with calcareous formations and how to estimate the reserve, oil & gas from carbonate reservoirs. Finally the course well test evaluation for fractured reservoir & how to increase the recovery by acidizing

To enhance the participants’ knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to understand and use modern methods to improve calcareous formations

Participants will learn how to deal with calcareous reservoirs. Also, the participants will learn how the relative permeability & pore structure affect on the recovery from calcareous reservoirs. Finally it enables one to make acidizing & evaluate pre- & post treatment of successful acidizing
