EL36 – Uninterruptible Power Supply

Course Description:

Power plants and electrical utilities require a continuous highly stabilized power supply to ensure stable work conditions. To avoid potential risks in plants failure a stabilized UPS system is urgently needed in all power and factory utilities.

Power control systems associated with computer have created the most advanced UPSs, their systems designing, planning, management, and automatic will be presented.

This course covers wide range from revision of power utilities needs for power supplies. Their measurements and control for different sites will be presented.

Course Goal

This course provides practical knowledge and tools of design, analysis and implementation of both conventional and advanced power supplies and their use in power plants and electrical utilities
