Course Description
This course covers the surface production operations. It provides information and concentrate on the proper selection, operation and maintenance of surface operation. The course gives review of properties of hydrocarbons, surface and covers controlled (SC – SSV’s), sucker rod pumping, surface unit components, prime mover & power supply, downhole pumps, factors affecting performance, separation & separator principles, lact unit principles & operation, dehydration & desalting, field treating of natural gas, natural gas measurement, and flare stacks & vent system.
