Course Description:

Advanced electronic instrumentation implemented in process control and other similar goals requires renewing the knowledge of technicians and practicing engineers about the recent developments in instrumentation, particularly the wide variety of microprocessor-based systems. The course begins with a review of the types of transducers, electrical characteristics of digital systems and progress through hardware and software taking the modem approach to instrumentation in industry.
