Course Goal:

The use of the different geophysical methods (gravity, magnetic, and seismic) in different phases of exploration

Course Objectives:

This course is designed to provide the non-professional geophysicist an introduction to geophysics as it is applied in petroleum exploration.  It provides a general understanding of principles relating to seismic, gravity, and magnetic methods. Beside the principles of these methods, it provides the field acquisition, procedures, data processing and data reduction and methods of interpretation.
