Course Description:
This course provides a comprehensive overview of transformer operation, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. It is designed to develop basic competencies of electrical apprentices and beginning learners. This training course will provide an understanding of Power Transformers, their materials, components and how they operate. It also emphasizes the importance of QA/QC in relation to transformers. The course will address in detail all aspects related to transformer principles, calculations, operation, testing and maintenance
Course Goal:
To enhance the delegate knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to understand basic fundamentals and constructional features of Power Transformers with particular reference to the design, testing, operation and maintenance of transformers in power systems.
